I am oh so excited for winter!! I know a lot of you are over in the UK and you’ve probably been dying for the sun to come out and to be able to bring out all the summer dresses you’ve hidden away due to the snow, but not me! I’ve been struggling through the heat and I am all for the rain and the chilly winter nights because it means I can bring out my coats and jumpers, something I’ve been waiting to do for so many months now.

Pretty Little Thing (check them out >>here<<) were kind enough to reach out and send me the lovely pieces you’ll see here today and I am utterly obsessed!!
I’ve been wanting an aviator style coat for the longest time and as soon as I saw it on their website I fell in love. It’s fully fur-lined and is the coolest item in my wardrobe. I’ll be bundling up in this all winter long as it is the cosiest jacket ever and it’s oh so comfortable which is key! There’s nothing worse than feeling smothered by all the layers you’ve put on in an attempt to stay warm. Also the quality of this coat is amazing, absolutely bang on and will be my go to for this autumn and winter.
Jeans are a very tricky thing for me to buy in general let alone online so I was weary when picking a pair. I decided to go for some classic mom jeans but with rips as I already have a pair of plain black mom jeans. As expected the waist was too big but that’s no fault of the jeans themselves, every single pair of pants I own gape at the waist because I have to go up a size to cater for my hips. Easily fixed with a belt though and these jeans were perfect. I love that the rips aren’t knee rips, I’m not a huge fan of showing my knees off but love a good pair of ripped jeans so these ticked all the boxes.
Also comfort factor is a major winnn, mom jeans are my go to because I’m all about the “I look like I tried but I feel like I’m wearing sweatpants” vibe and these were exactly that. My fears of buying jeans online have been shattered and I’ll definitely be looking online when I need a new pair.
Now onto the jumper… I am in love!
Its distressed, it can be worn off the shoulder for the extra chic and on trend look and it’s just plain gorge. I love the cricket style as it’s a little different to your everyday jumper and it can 100% be dressed up, so in the cooler months you can look more dressy without compromising staying warm. The distressing along the top and bottom makes it a little more edgy which I love as I’m trying to incorporate a few more cool and edgy pieces into my wardrobe this winter to spice things up a little.
I’d love to do another autumn winter edit very soon so if you liked this one then do let me know as I loved taking the photos and writing it all up. Thank you again to Pretty Little Thing for sending me these clothes and thank you all for reading x
