Stocking Stuffers | Blogmas Day 4

Getting big presents is great and all but let’s be real, opening the little stocking stuffers is where the party’s at. They’re cute and they make perfect little gifts because everyone loves them and they aren’t going to break the bank. Can someone tell me whats not to love about stocking stuffers, because I can’t find a fault. For blogmas day 4 I wanted to do a beauty post as I feel my blog is a little lacking in the beauty department, so I thought a beauty themed stocking stuffers guide would be perfect. There are so many little inexpensive beauty items that you can give to your bestie, mum, aunt… and so on and so forth.

When it comes to christmas time Lush has got you covered, from bath bombs to lip tints they have everything a girl (or guy) would need for a full pamper sesh. Every holiday for the past few years I’ve been given the Twilight bath bomb by a friend and now its my go to holiday bath bomb, I just adore it but if you’re not into this bath bomb they have everything from christmas pudding bath bombs to melted snowmen. I also love their lip scrubs, I have the bubblegum sugar lip scrub and it works wonders when my lips are dry and chapped, plus you can lick it off when your done exfoliating and it tasted delicious!!

2016 was definitely the year for matte liquid lipsticks and thankfully drugstore brands bought out their own versions of the infamous Kylie Jenner lip kits. Nyx is a brand that I’ve recently been loving and their liquid lipsticks are no exception. The formula is fab and the price is even better, $14.99 for a liquid lipstick might seem like a lot but when you compare it to the big brands which are upwards of $30 you can’t go wrong. I know if I opened a present from my stocking and it was a new liquid lipstick I’d be over the moon and I doubt I’d be the only girl feeling that way.

You can never go wrong with nail polish, everyone has a little (or big) bag of polishes and while it’s probably not the most exciting gift (unless you’re a polish-aholic) they’re still great stocking stuffers!! Everyone has at least one occasion where they can wear nail polish and the colour options are literally endless so you’ll be able to find the perfect shade for whoever you’re buying for.

A little added extra is a bath and body works hand sanitizer. If you watch any beauty gurus then I’m sure you’ve heard of these little pocket-sized hand sanitizers, which actually smell amazing unlike the familiar alcohol smell of most hand sanitizers. Even though it’s not the most exciting gift its perfect as an added bonus in someones stocking and for only a few dollars you can’t go wrong.

That’s my little stocking stuffer guide for all my beauty lovers out there. I’d love to know any of your stocking stuffer ideas so do let me know in the comments. Other than that I best be off and as always I’ll talk to you tomorrow ♡.

Love Sophie x
