Lately I’ve been loving minimalist jewellery, I find my self reaching for dainty necklaces and simple rings over chunky bangles and statement earrings. I definitely go through phases where I’ll feel like wearing something that stands out more but for a few months now I’ve definitely been into the minimalist jewellery look.
Sometimes I’ll put together an outfit and it looks great laid out on my bed but as soon as I put it on it looks… ehh. It just needs a little something to tie it all together, that’s where a few stacked rings and some simple studs come in. They don’t over take the look like a statement necklace would but they still add those details some of my outfits lack. If I’m wearing something particularly bold (this is vv rare but on occasion I like to push my outfit boundaries) I stray away from a chunky bracelet and choose my simple silver Pandora bracelet as it doesn’t add too much bling but just enough to pull the outfit together.
Speaking of my Pandora bracelet one thing you probably don’t know about me is the fact that almost every single day for over two years now I’ve worn it. It’s come to the point now that if I’m not wearing it I feel lost, it’s v weird but I really don’t like the feeling of not wearing it. 24/7 365 days of the year it’s pretty much 100% likely I’ll be wearing it, and when I’m not you can guarantee I’ll be stressing about the fact it’s not on my wrist. The reason I love it is because it’s so simple and understated that people rarely notice it’s there, I don’t think my friends even take notice that I’m wearing it anymore because they haven’t seen me without it in so long. You’ve probably seen it in a few of my blog posts (if you’re curious there’s a photo in this blog post where you can see it). I think this alone shows my love for minimalist jewellery.
What’s the point of this post? I’m not entirely sure, I just wanted to quickly share with you all something on this drab Wednesday afternoon. Now you know a little more about me and my love for minimalist jewellery, I’d love to know what your favourite piece of jewellery is and what style you prefer, do let me know down below.
