Leavers | 35mm Film

At the end of November last year I went to Busselton for a week with all my friends for leavers. Leavers is basically a week-long party for all the year 12’s who graduated, we spent the day chilling at the beach or in our resort and then got ready to go to the raves each night. There were 4 raves from Monday-Thursday and they were the most fun I’ve ever had, to give you a visual imagine about 8,000 people all ready to party in a huge field with massive marquis, amazing music and a whole area with a bunch of rides. It was an eventful week with so many amazing experiences and it was the perfect way to celebrate the end of high school. I mean a week without parents, in an apartment with 8 of my best friends.. Definitely the best week of my life!!

Before I went I bought a disposable camera to take and I thought I would share with you all some of the photos from the week, a few of these photos are also from my friend Nina’s disposable camera so thank you to her for letting me share them on here with you all.

I’m starting a new.. “series” I suppose, here on my blog where I will be sharing my 35mm film photos with you all as I finally have a film camera which I’ve been wanting for years now. This makes me so excited as photography is something I looove and as you can tell on my blog I tend to lean towards the more personal and lifestyle related posts and whats more personal than sharing photos from my life. There’s now a Photography section on my blog, you can click it up the top or click >>here<< to go straight to it, thats where I’ll be putting all my future film and other photography related posts. Without any further chit-chat I hope you enjoy having a look at some of the film photos from my leavers trip.

Oh I’ve recently started using a film camera as well and I’m OBSESSED! I really love the grain when you use a certain type of film! If you don’t mind me asking, what film did you use here? xxx

Sorry for the incredibly late reply girl. Same the grain just makes it look more authentic if that makes any sense haha. For these photos I was using a disposable camera by the brand Polaroid, so I’m unsure of the specific film it was using however in my actual film cameras I’ve been using the Agfa Vista Plus 400 speed film and it is lovely, the photos have gorgeous colours and a lovely level of grain. Hope that helps x
