Hello March

So apparently February’s over now?? I honestly didn’t even realise until I saw twitter flooded with people thinking the same thing as me “Did February even happen?”. A simple answer is No. I don’t think it did because it feels like only yesterday I was opening presents on Christmas day and now its March?

However we should probably Welcome March I suppose.

So welcome March.. I’m not quite sure where this is going so lets move on shall we.

I’ve been busy planning out some posts I’m very excited about, they’re très deep but I feel like a little more transparency is always a good thing, right? Anyway I just wanted to chat for a bit today about the month that was and what I’ve got going on at the moment.

Like I said before I never really realised that February happened, it was a weird month where I was half stressing about uni starting and half doing absolutely nothing day after day.

It got to the point where I missed having a routine. I didn’t miss the over the top workload of school but I miss having something to do and a plan set for the day ahead. I was ready to get back into the swing of things but the swing had suddenly been flipped all the way upside down.

In the last few days of february I started University. I know most of you are probably sick of me talking about it because it’s been basically all my twitter and Instagram stories have consisted of (with the occasional mention of how much I absolutely **need** a Gucci bag).

I could honestly sit and chat for daysss about all the things that happened this week but I’ll save it all for another day because I want to write a whole separate shebang and go into a lot more detail about Uni and how my first week honestly was. Cutting out the fluff and keeping it real because I can’t lie and say there wasn’t a point I questioned whether I should even be here.

Lets move onto the present month of March, I would normally say finally but in this case february went by in the blink of an eye so I was never really given the chance to wait for march.

I’m currently sat at a table in a completely dead courtyard at uni writing this up and I must say I think I have found a new favourite place to write. Well maybe less preferred when it’s filled with people but sat out in the sun is a definite y.e.s from me. Although I must admit I do feel a tad left out seeing all the other bloggers photos out in the snow, it’s still v hot here in Australia and I’m going to push my snow envy aside and lap up the sun before it is swapped for rain within a few months.

I’m excited for this month because by the time April rolls around I will have

  • Finished a few shifts at my new job
  • Gone through a full month of uni
  • Hopefully met a lot more new people
  • && Worked for a day in a real primary school (quite nervous but very excited)

Its going to be hectic but I’m determined to stay on top of everything to ensure that nothing gets left behind. I’m not about to become so swamped from uni that my blog goes on the back burner. I made that mistake in year 12 and it was NOT FUN.

I want march to be a good month, I don’t want it to speed by but I also hope it doesn’t drag on and I just want to push past all the negatives and make it to April alive and maybe with a Gucci bag on my shoulder, not going to happen but a girl can dream.

Girl same! Where has March gone?? I only realised until this morning when my sister asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I was like “it’s not even March yet”, haha. Can’t wait to read all the posts you’ve planned! Hope you have a fab month xx
