Christmas In The City

About a week ago I went to see the Christmas pageant with my friends Issy and Nina. We hadn’t been for years so it’s safe to say I was very excited to see all the gorge floats and of course Santa. Not one part of me cared that I was an 18-year-old, technically an adult (realistically I’m still 10), jamming out to christmas music and getting a little too excited at the giant unicorn float where a fairy waved AT ME!

Pro tip for Christmas pageants be 6ft or else you won’t be able to see unless you get there two hours before it starts. Luckily I could see over the people in front and managed to snap some photos of some of the floats but honestly I was getting way too excited to focus on my camera. I’ll put in the photo I did manage to get that didn’t come out completely blurry or way too dark (I was having a rough time with the manual settings on my dslr). So here you go the one float that I managed to get a half decent photo of, seriously I adore blogging but sometimes getting that perfect photo just doesn’t happen, so I do apologise but hey we aren’t all perfect and its Christmas the season of forgiving and what not.

I promise I’m not crazy but I would definitely wear the dresses those girls are wearing, light-up rainbow tutus!! Yes. I don’t know where I would wear it but I know that I would feel so fly (oo unintentional fairy pun).

I’m in such an odd mood today, maybe because my blog dashboard is finally working again after a long process of having to write my post last night on my phone (it was not fun). Now I can finally blog the way I know and love, on my laptop. Also my bestie Issy is back from Melbourne and I am very happy to have her home for all the chats and Christmas bants. I thought I’d put in this cute little photo we took together after the pageant. She doesn’t get enough credit on my blog but she has put up with me ranting about technical difficulties and taken photos of me for posts which is a lifesaver (plus she’s pretty freaking fab and deserves the blogging world to know).

Well yes after that Christmasy chat and little ramble I should be off, I have an exciting post for tomorrow which is perfect for all you beauty girls (& guys) so keep a look out for that and have a very merry day/night
